Machinery Sheds

At Grant Sheds we have industrial sheds for storage of farm equipment and implements (e.g. tractors, trucks, grain or grape harvesters, spray equipment, tractor implements, etc.) They’re also great as farm workshops.

Machinery sheds in SA are much larger than in eastern states, and they even vary in size from the east of our state to the west of our state (our wide span sheds may have openings up to 12 or 15m wide to fit the very large broad acre farm equipment used in the west).

Hay Sheds

Our sheds can be supplied for large or small hay bales. They're perfect for export quality, large bale hay which needs to be stored under cover to retain quality to get best export prices. We can easily handle the huge hay sheds in sizes such as 30m x 150m x 8m (or 100’ x 500’ x 25’).

Bulk Grain Sheds

A bulk grain shed allows you to prevent unloading delays at harvest time, so you continue harvesting as quickly as possible and avoid crop damage once the optimal harvesting time begins. Having a bulk grain shed also gives you great flexibility: you can either leave the grain in the shed for delivery to grain markets once the rush of the grain harvest is over, or transfer the grain into separate silos for later sale or use. That can give you the ability to sell when prices are better ... giving you more options and more farm income.

Sliding Roof Bulk Fertiliser Sheds

The roof of these sheds slides open to allow a semi trailer/tipper to unload bulk supplies of fertiliser directly into the shed,and is then simply rolled closed again. This saves time spent moving fertiliser and reduces the cost of the shed needed to store your fertiliser because the shed does not have to be as high as would otherwise be needed.

Small implements, tractors or grain can also be stored in the shed when not being used for fertiliser.
